Community Council members: Guidance manual
Your Guidance Handbook has been produced for community council members in East Renfrewshire, to support them in managing their community councils effectively.
The guidance has been developed as an information resource for community council members. It complements the Scheme for the Establishment of Community councils (amended 2015) [355kb] which sets out how community councils should operate. By clicking on each section below, community council members will get access to guidance based on established good practice in the various areas of community council activity.
All community council members are welcomed and encouraged to use this guidance to help them carry out their role successfully and confidently.
