We aim to develop confidence, self-esteem and verbal communication skills in children from 5 to 16 through classes that have been running internationally for 30 years.
Every week, over 12,000 children attend our fun classes held throughout the UK. Students take part in creative improvised drama, speech work, creative movement activities as well as plays and script work.
Classes are designed to be good fun and are high energy, motivating even the quietest children to join in while the more confident ones learn how to develop characters and portray them to an audience. We meet for an hour every week and in the summer we will perform a short, scripted production on stage for family and friends.

Our members range from beginners to those who have painted for many years. We are a friendly group and there is always lots of help and advice available. Various media are used - watercolour, oils, acrylics, pastels, pencils, pen and wash - and it is good to get first hand advice when trying something new.
On the first Thursday of each month we have a demonstration either by a professional artist or one of our members.
New members are always welcome and we have a range of books and basic equipment to get beginners started.
