End of life care

East Renfrewshire district nursing staff can provide compassionate care that offers people the choice to remain in their own homes as they near end of life.

What is Available?

  • Experienced district nursing service who work seven days from 8.30am to 4.30pm.
  • Evening service district nurses who work from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.
  • Overnight nursing service from 10pm to 6.30am.
  • Night sitting service may be available to support carers in the home.
  • Marie Curie services are available for end of life care to give support to carers in the home.

Who can get help or who can get the service?

The services are available to anyone who requires nursing care in the home and are nearing the end of their life.
