EU Referendum results for East Renfrewshire Voting Area

Breakdown of the count in East Renfrewshire.
East Renfrewshire delivered a verdict of 39,345 votes to remain a member of the European Union and 13,596 votes to leave, in the EU Referendum.
With a local turn out of 76.1 per cent, East Renfrewshire's Counting Officer, Lorraine McMillan, has thanked voters for delivering another high turnout in the East Ren counting area.
"We have once more recorded a high turnout and I would like to thank local voters for getting out and having their say in the EU Referendum.
"I would also like to thank our election staff across East Ren. They set up and ran our polling stations, making sure they were open from 7am and running them for 15 hours on the day until 10pm.

The total number of votes counted was 52,969.
The number of ballot papers rejected is 28.
