Boundary Commission for Scotland

The Boundary Commission for Scotland is responsible for reviews of:

  • Constituencies in Scotland for the UK Parliament.
  • Constituencies and regions for the Scottish Parliament.

Full reviews of UK Parliament constituencies are carried out every 5 years. Full reviews of Scottish Parliament boundaries are carried out approximately every 10 years, with interim reviews of selected areas sooner if necessary. 

The Boundary Commission for Scotland is currently carrying out its 6th Review of UK Parliament Constituencies.  Full details can be obtained from the Boundary Commission's website:

Local Government Boundary Commission for Scotland
