Building Standards and Public Safety
Building Warrants for construction work, Certificates of Completion , Letters of Comfort, inspections and notifications, street names and numbering of properties and sustainable building advice.
For general enquiries and advice, a duty surveyor is available at our Spiersbridge office from 8.45am to 1.00pm, Monday to Friday. No appointment is necessary for general enquiries. For enquiries, or to arrange an appointment about a specific application that has already been made, please contact the surveyor allocated to your application between 8.45am and 1.00pm, Monday to Friday. If you call into the office, without an appointment after 1.00pm, you will not be able to be seen by a surveyor. This is because our surveyors work away from the office most of the time or will be dealing with other applications. If you phone after 1.00pm, please leave a message on the surveyors answerphone and they will contact you as soon as they are able to do so. Alternatively you can email the service at firstname.lastname@example.org for any Building Standards related enquiry and a team member will respond to you as soon as possible.
