Electric vehicle charging points

Details of locations for electric vehicle charging points in East Renfrewshire.

East Renfrewshire Council now offers free electric vehicle charging and free parking at a network of Plugged in Places around East Renfrewshire.

Parking is free while charging at these points.  Electricity is also free.

The council has received grants from Transport Scotland with a value of over £78,000 to install these Electric Vehicle charging points as part of our efforts to reduce carbon emissions and environmental impacts across East Renfrewshire.  It also aims to promote a more sustainable driving culture to it's residents.

There are a total of 5 charging outlets operated by the council. Their locations are listed in the following table:

A swipe card is needed to activate the chargers.  If you require a swipe card, you can obtain one by registering with Charge your Car Ltd where you can purchase a lifetime card for £20 per annum.
