Equality, diversity and human rights
Equality and human rights are some of the core values of the Council and shape our approach to jobs, services and other aspects of life in East Renfrewshire. In working for equality and human rights, we are guided by the views of local people, the laws relating to equality and human rights and the changing world around us.
Equality report and equality outcomes
East Renfrewshire Council's first Equality Mainstreaming Report and Equality Outcomes was published on 30 April 2013 under the duty to publish equality outcomes and report progress.
The report has been developed to cover the period of 2013-2017 and sets out the council's journey to embed equality considerations into our policies. It also includes the outcomes we will pursue to ensure that no one is disadvantaged or left behind in East Renfrewshire.
