Neighbour disputes

Let mediation help with problems next door.

This service is available to all East Renfrewshire residents. Mediation is practical, confidential, quick and regularly helps to resolve all sorts of neighbour difficulties ranging from minor disagreements to long running disputes.

The mediation team will discuss whether mediation is right for you and arrange for two trained mediators to attend your home to talk about what has been happening and the possible ways forward. If you agree, the mediation team will contact your neighbours and visit them to talk about the situation as they see it.

For the mediation process to work, it is important that both parties are willing to take part.

With the willingness of both parties, a meeting will be arranged to work out the best way forward.
