Our Customer Service opening hours are 8.45am - 4.45pm, Monday to Friday. The Payment Centre hours are 9am - 4.15pm, with only credit/debit card payments (not cash) between 1pm and 2pm.

Older person's National Entitlement Card

The National Entitlement Card offers a Scotland wide free bus and discounted travel scheme for people who are 60 years and over.

Free travel is available with any local bus or scheduled long distance coach service.

Concessionary travel is available on First Scotrail within Strathclyde and on the Glasgow Underground - for those residents who live within the Strathclyde boundary.

Who can apply?

Residents of Scotland aged 60 and over can get an application form (LS304) from their local Post Office or SPT travel centre.  Completed application forms should be returned to their local post office or SPT Travel Centre.  For application status updates please contact SPT.

How to apply ?

To apply for your National Entitlement Card you'll need:

  • A completed application form

  • A recent photograph

  • Proof of age or disability

  • Proof of your current address
