SEA Conservation Area Appraisals

Strategic Environmental Assessment - Giffnock, Eaglesham, Upper Whitecraigs and Lower Whitecraigs Conservation Area Appraisals

Screening

A screening report was published in March 2012.  The report concluded that the Conservation Area Appraisals were unlikely to have a significant impact on the environment.

Consultation Authorities

The Screening Report was sent to the Consultation Authorities for comment.

Determination

A Determination Statement was issued on the 1st May 2012 stating that we, as the Responsible Authority, have deemed that the environmental impacts of the Giffnock, Eaglesham, Upper Whitecraigs and Lower Whitecraigs Conservation Area Appraisals are non significant and that the Appraisals should not be subject to further SEA process.
