Stalled Spaces Scotland
Improve your town centre with a Stalled Spaces Scotland grant
Stalled Spaces Scotland can fund community groups who want to transform unused and unloved places in their town centres.
We are looking to fund "pop up" and temporary projects that transform town centre streets into temporary gardens, performance spaces, exciting play areas or even a solar farm.
Remember that projects must be temporary, be located in town centres and have the consent of the land owner before starting. All projects must be complete by December 2016. Details on how to apply can be found in the related documents area. To give groups time to imagine interesting projects there will be three rounds of funding between March 2015 and March 2016.
Projects can be small and clever with awards starting at £500 up to a maximum of £3000.
It is strongly advised that you contact the funding officer to discuss your ideas before submitting your application. For some inspiration and ideas have a look at the Stalled Spaces Scotland Website.
The deadline for the first round of applications is the 27th of April 2015.
