Williamwood and South Giffnock Waiting and Loading restrictions review

We're now carrying out a formal consultation on proposed new and/or amended waiting and loading restrictions for Williamwood and South Giffnock.

Consultation areas

The main area includes:

  • Davieland Road and adjacent residential streets
  • Berryhill Road
  • Ayr Road / Eastwood Toll / Mains Avenue
  • Eastwood Mains Road at Williamwood Shops / Seres Road and adjacent residential streets

A formal consultation on proposed new and/or amended on-street waiting and loading restrictions considered appropriate to meet the Council's aim of sustaining the efficient flow of traffic whilst balancing it against the needs of all road users is now underway until 23 August 2019.

Feedback received will be used to help create final proposals which will be presented to the Elected Council Members for their approval before a new Traffic Regulation Order can be promoted allowing the updated restrictions to come into force.

The formal consultation is a legal step we must take before we can make the new Traffic Regulation Order.
