Children's Hearings Scotland

We are seeking Panel Practice Advisors to support Scotland's unique Children's Panel.

Volunteer Panel Practice Advisors are responsible for observing Panel Member practice to ensure we are making the best possible decisions with and for children and young people in Scotland and recruiting our volunteer Panel Members.

Panel Practice Advisors play a critical role within Area Support Teams - those responsible for the delivery and administration of the Children's Hearings System at a local level across Scotland.

We are looking for people who can give around 15-20 hours of their time per month with excellent skills in:

  • Observation
  • Assessment
  • Interviewing
  • Communication
