If you experience damage, loss or harm in relation to yourself or your belongings, you may wish to make a claim for compensation against the council. This is called a public liability claim or personal injury claim.

If you wish to make a claim for compensation directly to us, you must complete our public liability claim form.

You can attach documents in support of your application, such as quotations and photographs of damage.

Types of files accepted as attachments include: gif, jpg, jpeg, tif, tiff, bmp, png and pdf.

There is a 5MB size limit on all files that can be attached.

Please ensure that the documents you attach are complete and easy to read. If documents are incomplete or are difficult to read this may delay your application.

If you want to upload the evidence and attach it to your application at another time, you can save and re-open the application at a later date to upload the evidence.
