Love to Ride are behaviour change experts who have refined their approach by helping people worldwide get into biking.
The Love to Ride online community is made up of more than half a million riders, including over 150,000 people who are new to cycling. Their aim is to support more people to cycle, encourage their friends and family to get involved and win prizes for their efforts.
Love to Ride has lots of resources to help people cycle with confidence, including a range of tips articles and quick courses.
Councillor Danny Devlin, Convener for Environment and Housing said: 'To join Love to Ride, it doesn't matter if you cycle every day or if you haven't been on a bike in years. There are so many benefits to be enjoyed from riding a bike, and Love to Ride is all about embracing each and every one of them. Whether that's for your physical or mental health, reducing your carbon footprint by leaving the car at home or saving money by cutting down on transport costs.'
Angus Rodney, Partnerships Manager at Love to Ride added: "Love to Ride East Renfrewshire is all about getting people on their bikes and having fun. Whether you are new to cycling or an everyday commuter. Sign up today to receive local information, log trips and win prizes for taking part."

The Love to Ride project is funded by the Paths for All Smarter Choices, Smarter Places (SCSP) Local Authority Fund which supports Scottish local authorities to encourage more journeys by foot, bike and public transport.
