Services to be held across East Renfrewshire to mark Remembrance Sunday
Remembrance services will be held across East Renfrewshire on Remembrance Sunday (12 November) to honour members of the armed forces.

Veterans, councillors, local dignitaries and residents will meet at services in Newton Mearns, Neilston and Barrhead to commemorate local war heroes.
Proceedings will begin in Newton Mearns at the war memorial beside Mearns Bowling Club on Ayr Road.
A parade will muster by 10.40am and march off from Fairweather Hall at 10.50am to reach the memorial for the service at 11am.
Neilston War Memorial Association are inviting community members to join an act of remembrance in Neilston.
A parade will muster in Broadlie Road at 11.45am and move off when assembled for arrival at the war memorial at 12 noon when a short service and wreath laying will take place.
Attendees are welcome to bring a wreath to lay on behalf of their organisation. Tea and coffee will be available afterwards in St Thomas' RC Church Hall. Anyone wishing to attend should RSVP by emailing paul.o'kane.msp@parliament.scot.
In Barrhead, a parade will muster at 1.50pm outside the United Services Club with a 2pm march off to arrive at Cowan Park for a 2.30pm service.
Provost Mary Montague said: 'Remembrance Sunday is our annual opportunity to remember our Armed Forces and their families and honour those who have lost their lives in service for their country.
'Members of the Armed Forces from Britain and the Commonwealth play a vital role so it's important we continue to recognise their contribution and how they have shaped our past, our present and future.
'By holding two minute silences at the services on Sunday 12 November we will show our respect and gratitude to those who have fallen whilst fighting in World War One and later conflicts.'
