We can provide guidance, advice and support to help you manage your daily activities in different ways or provide and suggest equipment to help you maintain your current skills and become more independent.

The following personas show the options and support available depending on you and your family's circumstances:

• Mr Smith is 32 years old and currently lives in a 2 bedroom 1st floor flat with his partner and their 2 sons (6 & 10), which he rents from his local authority. Mr Smith's younger son has recently been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and his doctor has advised it is crucial to his development that he has his own room to use as a safe space. • Mrs Murray is 82 years old and currently lives on her own in a 3 bedroom semi-detached house. She wishes to move to sheltered housing. Mrs Murray has severe arthritis which prevents her from gripping hand rails, she has stairs internal and external leading do her front door. • Katie is 18 years old and currently lives with her mum and dad in a large two bedroom house with downstairs dining room. She has progressive Multiple Sclerosis meaning she now struggles with stairs as she relies more on her wheelchair. Read about Katie's options (PDF, 771 KB)
• Miss Apple is 50 years old as is in the early stages on Motor Neurone Disease. She lives with her family in the home they own. Miss Apple has become unsteady on her feet with her declining mobility. Whilst the home environment is manageable with level living inside, Miss Apple is struggling exiting the property due to the uneven path and deep threshold, which has caused a number of falls for her. Read about Miss Apple's options (PDF, 592 KB)
