You need a licence to operate a premise (booking office) for 4 or more taxis or private hire cars.
The individual(s) running the business will also need a licence and must keep certain necessary records.

What happens next?
We aim to process your application as soon as possible.
Legislation allows for consideration of the application within 3 months and a decision within 6 months.
