Carbon Literacy Training - privacy notice

We require your information to:

• deliver effective and tailored training
• retain accurate records and assist with internal audit
• for you to become Carbon Literate certified (if you wish to proceed with this)

The Council is required to process personal data lawfully and in accordance with current Data Protection legislation. In processing personal data for the purpose of Carbon Literacy Training, the lawful basis is Consent. We'll only process data with your clear consent.

You have the right to withdraw this consent at any time, please contact climatechange@eastrenfrewshire.gov.uk if you wish to withdraw your consent.

For us to deliver effective and tailored Carbon Literacy Training, and for you to become Carbon Literate Certified, it is important we have up to date and accurate information about you.

The information we hold about you will have been provided by you through self-completed electronic forms.

East Renfrewshire Council will share your data with the Carbon Literacy Project if you decide to proceed with becoming Carbon Literate Certified. The Carbon Literacy Project assess and awards the Carbon Literacy certificate.
