Stray dog
If you use our service to report a stray dog, we'll scan the dog for a microchip and try to find its owner.
If the owner isn't identified we'll use social media to help us try to find the owner.
If the owner still isn't found we'll take the dog to the SSPCA Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Glasgow.
Excessive barking
This can often be resolved informally by engaging with your neighbour, however, if this approach fails, we'll investigate barking complaints you can't resolve with the owner. Find out more about dog barking, what you can do to resolve this issue and how we can help?
If the barking complaint isn't resolved you can take civil action.
