To register for a Housing Online account, you first need a mygovscot myaccount. As well as access to Housing Online, this account allows you to access a range of online council services from a single account including Parentsportal, Council Tax and other services.
If you already have a mygovscot myaccount then login here, otherwise Register here.
Once you have a mygovscot myaccount, the next step is to login here, then follow the instructions below to register for a Housing Online account.
What you'll need
If you're Council Tenant, you'll need your Rent Payment Reference to register.
If you have a live Housing Application, you'll need your Application Reference to register. Tenants with a live Housing Application can use either.
From 11 November 2024, you'll be able to apply for Council housing via your Housing Online account.
Once you are logged in to your mygovscot account, select 'Access Housing Online' and follow the steps below:
Step 1: Create a one-time login to Housing Online
Select 'Create an Account'. Enter the same email address you used for your myeastren account, create a password, then click on the 'Next' button to complete this step.
You'll receive an email from no-reply@eastrenfrewshire.gov.uk. If you don't see it, try checking your junk email folder.
Step 2: Provide your details to complete registration of your Housing Online Account
Open the email from Step 1 and select 'Verify Me'. You'll be redirected to the Housing Online Register Details page.
Select 'Payment Reference' or 'Application Reference' in the drop-down menu, and enter your reference number. Answer the rest of the questions on the page. Read and click the 'I confirm' box and then click 'Finish'.
You'll now be presented with a screen confirming you have successfully registered.
Step 3: Login to your Housing Online Account
Select 'Continue to Login', enter the username and password you registered in Step 2 and select 'Login'.
You'll now be logged into Housing Online.
