Plans for a £15 million investment by London & Scottish Developments to transform the former site of the Nestlé Purina factory in East Renfrewshire and create hundreds of jobs have been approved.

The "very positive, caring ethos" at St John's Primary, in Barrhead, has been praised by inspectors.
