Peer Support
Find out about peer support available to for NHS and HSCP staff to help with wellbeing and resilience.
Peer support is now available for NHS and Health and Social Care Partnership staff across Greater Glasgow and Clyde as a way to support our colleagues. We know that when people feel supported and heard, this has a positive impact on their wellbeing and resilience. Peer support comes in many forms. It can be provided informally or more formally by setting up an appointment. Staff across the board are being trained to offer peer support to their teams and colleagues in a non-judgmental confidential space.
If you would like to speak to a peer supporter we have a small team of trained staff across the HSCP. Contact East Renfrewshire's Health and Wellbeing lead Claire.Blair@eastrenfrewshire.gov.uk

She's been a Mental Health First Aider and trainer for almost 20 years and is also COSCA trained in counselling skills.
She supports her own wellbeing by getting outdoors regularly to walk and cycle and embraces the cold wild water swimming in the River Clyde! She also enjoys yoga and pilates and meditates for 10 minutes a day to help find peace and quiet.
