Report an issue in your community including antisocial behaviour, noise and littering for our team to investigate and review.
Service information
Our Community Safety service delivers essential front line and statutory services throughout East Renfrewshire, keeping our citizens, properties and open spaces safe.
Community Safety Officers
The team carry out a range of statutory and non-statutory duties for the council, when out and about in our communities. These include:
- Antisocial behaviour investigation
- Parking enforcement
- Vehicle emission check
- Smoking checks
- Dogs (barking, out of control dogs, dog fouling, lost or found dogs)
- Littering
- Noise
- Mediation service
Before you start
Use the Report a community safety issue online form to report anything relating to the above. If you wish to report more than one issue you'll need to complete a form for each.
Once you've completed the form and read over your answers click on the 'Submit' button, otherwise we will not receive your report.

What happens next?
A Community Safety Officer will get a notification of your report and will act on it as soon as an officer is available within that area. When you submit the form, you'll get a reference number.
If your issue has not been dealt with in a reasonable timescale, or you want to speak to someone directly you can call our Ring and Report helpline.
