Kingston Park, Neilston - paths proposal

Have your say

We're proposing to extend the paths in Neilston's Kingston Park and we'd like your views. The proposal has arisen from the community's responses to the Neilston Action Plan survey that was undertaken in 2024, where people told us they wanted a more 'community feel' within the park.

The proposal would improve access and provide places to sit and relax and for people to meet one another. It will involve the laying new paths with fruit trees planted alongside and new benches installed.

The park currently has a well-used play area and skate park. The map below shows the proposed new paths - click on the image to enlarge:

We'll be holding a drop in session at the The Bank, Neilston on Thursday 12 June (3pm - 6.30pm), where everyone is welcome to come along and meet us, discuss the proposals and give us their views.

We also have an online survey that you can complete. Have your say here. The survey closes at 9am on Monday 23 June.

Funding has been identified through contributions made by housing developers to improve public areas in Neilston. If the Neilston community supports the proposal, works will commence during the 2025/26 financial year.
