East Renfrewshire Council's Provost Award is an annual opportunity to honour dedicated volunteers for their invaluable work in the community, which makes a difference to the lives of many others.

Winner of the Provost Award 2019

In 2019, community champion, Evelyn Baxter, won the Provost Award. She was honoured for the fundamental role she plays in Busby Memory Lane, which was launched in 2016 to give more opportunities to older people.

Nominations for the Provost Award 2020 can only be made online this year to prevent unnecessary office visits due to Covid-19.

What happens next?

The winner will be invited to attend the last Full Council meeting before Christmas on Wednesday 16 December.

The meeting will be held on Microsoft Teams.
