Concessionary Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging Tariff Scheme Privacy Notice

 The Sustainable and Community Travel Team are collecting personal information as part of the Council's concessionary EV tariff scheme, to verify that the applicant is eligible for the discount, is a resident of East Renfrewshire and don't have access to off-street parking. 

We process your information in order to perform a task carried out in the public interest in terms of the Local Government etc. (Scotland) Act 1994.. 

If data is not provided then we'll not be able to process your application for a concessionary tariff for the use of East Renfrewshire Council's publicly accessible EV chargers.

We collect information about you directly from you..

Email addresses associated with ChargePlace Scotland accounts, and ChargePlace Scotland physical and virtual card numbers will be shared with ChargePlace Scotland. Once the information is shared with ChargePlace Scotland, they will be responsible for managing your data. View the ChangePlace Scotland privacy notice.

We'll securely destroy your personal information within 5 years of processioning your application. If your application is successful, your discount will continue to be applied until we are notified that you have moved address.
