East Renfrewshire Alcohol and Drugs Partnership

East Renfrewshire Alcohol and Drugs Partnership is a multi-agency group tasked by the Scottish Government with reducing alcohol and drug related harms through partnership working. The partnership meets 4 times per year and is supported by an implementation group which meets more regularly. The following organisations are members of the partnership:

  • East Renfrewshire Council and the Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) including recovery services, children and families social work, criminal justice and health improvement
  • NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde
  • Police Scotland
  • Third sector providers of alcohol and drugs services

We are working with the local recovery community and developing arrangements for closer partnership working.  Read the partnership Terms of Reference (PDF) [396KB] .

East Renfrewshire alcohol and drugs plan 2024 to 2027

A new plan to reduce alcohol and drug related harm in East Renfrewshire has been developed by the local Alcohol and Drugs Partnership and approved by the East Renfrewshire Integration Joint Board.  Over the next 3 years, partners will work together to deliver the actions in the plan.  Many of our actions involve working closely with people with lived experience and the wider community to understand needs and inform how we deliver the planned actions.

Lived Experience Panel

If you or someone you know has experienced issues with alcohol and drugs, then you may be interested in being part of the Lived Experience Panel.

The Lived Experience Panel is a group of people who have their own experience of alcohol and drugs who meet to talk about relevant topics.

By being part of the panel, you can:

  • Share your and your loved one's experiences
  • Work alongside relevant organisations in the recovery community
  • Have a say in shaping future services

The panel is facilitated independently by The Advocacy Project on behalf of the East Renfrewshire Alcohol and Drugs Partnership.

If you are interested and would like to find out more, contact Louise at The Advocacy Project.
