Private Sector Leasing Scheme
Find out about these two private sector opportunities.
If you're a private landlord in East Renfrewshire with a property available to let, we'd like to hear from you.
We're looking for landlords who'd be interested in leasing their property to us, to provide temporary accommodation for local and Ukrainian homeless applicants.
The scheme offers:
- guaranteed rental income
- long lease - potentially three years
- free tenancy management
- no letting agents fees
- property returned in original condition
- no need to interview prospective tenants
- no loss of rent due to empty periods
Refugee accommodation
In situations where Afghan or Ukrainian refugees are required to move on from temporary or host accommodation, there may be a need to consider lets in the private sector. We therefore want to establish links with landlords who may have vacancies now or in the near future. The lease would be between the landlord and tenant.
If you'd like to find out more you can read our private sector leasing guidance (Word doc) [840KB] and register your interest on our online application. Someone from the team will then get in touch with you.
