Greenhags Recycling Centre site improvements

The Greenhags Household Waste Recycling Centre is undergoing site improvements, which will continue over the next few weeks. The Greenhags Facility is operated by Viridor on behalf of East Renfrewshire Council, as part of the Clyde Valley project, which includes five local authorities.
The upgrade is focused on ensuring East Renfrewshire Council residents, when visiting the site, are within a safe operational environment, whilst meeting all their household waste disposal needs.
Tipping bays will replace gantries and skips. Site signage will be upgraded and renewed and road and line marking upgrades are planned. Bollards replaced and repositioned to assist with onsite Safety and Barrier Traffic management will be in place to improve traffic flow onsite and most importantly help to ensure the safety of all visitors.
