Overlee pump track proposal
Have your say on the proposed pump track in Overlee Park

In partnership with Netherlee and Stamperland Community Council, we're proposing to build a pump track within an area of Overlee Park between the sports pitches. We're asking local residents for their views on this proposal at the location identified in the map below. Click on the map to enlarge:
A pump track is an undulating asphalt track, which can be used by bikes, scooters and skateboards, providing outdoor activities and exercise for local residents, especially young people, in Clarkston. Access to the track will be free of charge.
The proposed track will have smart lighting designed to minimise light pollution and a cut-off timer, which will limit its availability after dark. During the operational period, the lights will only come on when activated by a user.
Alternatively, we can send you a copy of the questionnaire. If you require one please email place@eastrenfrewshire.gov.uk
As well as the online survey, we've also arranged a drop-in session in Clarkston Library between 3pm-7pm on Wednesday 9 April for residents to have their say in person.
The Cabinet Committee, at its meeting on the 6 March 2025, agreed to allocate a proportion of the required funding and to progress with a planning application. If planning permission is granted, applications for grant funding and community fund-raising by the Community Council will be required to complete the funding package needed to allow the proposal to go ahead.
This survey will close on Friday 18 April 2025 at 5pm.
