The Citizens' Panel is a group of around 1200 local people aged 16 and over. They represent local people based on census data on:

  • where they live
  • how long they've lived there
  • their age
  • their gender
  • their ethnicity

The Citizens' Panel is one of the ways that we listens to the view of local residents to help make decisions on how best to improve services and to inform key policies. We want to ensure our Panel is representative of East Renfrewshire's diverse population and seek new members from a range of backgrounds.

As a Citizens' Panel member you'll receive one or 2 surveys a year asking for your views on local services and other important issues. You'll also have the chance to take part in other events or feedback sessions with other panel members.
