Look for the metal archways marking starting points for the trail or join at any point along the way.
The route follows the course of the Levern Water which once powered the textile industry and drove the development of Barrhead. You will pass Carlibar and Centenary parks and can extend the walk into nearby Cowan Park. Play areas are available at Carlibar Park and Cowan Park.
