Upcoming elections

Elections scheduled to take place in East Renfrewshire are shown below:

• Following the repeal of the Fixed Term Parliament Act the date of the next UK Parliamentary Election is no longer fixed. The next election must take place no later than 21 August 2029.
• The next scheduled elections for the Scottish Parliament will be held on 7 May 2026.
• The next scheduled local government elections will be held on 6 May 2027.
