Information about elections and voting in East Renfrewshire - The next UK General Election will be held on 4 July 2024

Election count

 

To take part in the upcoming General Election on 4 July, you must register to vote by 18 June. It only takes  five minutes to register on the GOV.UK website. Voters can choose whether to vote at a polling station, by post or by proxy. 

For the first time at a UK general election, those voting at a polling stations will need to show photo ID. Voters should check now if they have an accepted form of ID, and if not to apply before 26 June for free ID, called the Voter Authority Certificate.
