Pay your council tax online
You'll need your council tax account number which is on your latest bill. Use this as the reference.
By Direct Debit
You can choose to pay in 10 or 12 monthly instalments and the date you'd like to pay.
If you've recently moved to East Renfrewshire, check you've updated your new address with your bank before completing a Direct Debit application.
Set up a Direct Debit by registering for Council Tax Online. You'll need your council tax account number. Please have this ready.
Over the phone
You'll need your council tax reference number and your credit or debit card.
Call 0141 577 3030 to pay by card using our automated system.
By bank transfer
To pay using a banking app, online banking or in a branch you'll need your council tax reference number.

Opening hours are: 9am to 4:15pm ( Mon - Fri )
