Improvement measures can include installing new heating or renewable energy systems, putting in wall or floor insulation and more. Doing so can reduce your energy consumption, your bills and your carbon emissions.

Under One Roof is a charity dedicated to providing free and impartial information to tenement flat owners on issues related to maintenance, common repair management, and retrofit. 

Financial advice and support 

The Money Advice and Rights team (MART) offer free, expert and confidential advice about debt, benefits and appeals. They can help with benefit applications and appeals to make sure you have your income maximised. as well as cost of living support including help and advice with energy bills

Our aim is to empower residents to avoid financial harm from scams, with emphasis on protecting them in vulnerable situations.

Funding and grants 

Between now and March 2025, there's a wide range of grant funding available to develop and strengthen businesses based and trading within East Renfrewshire. This includes grants that support energy efficiency measures and training for green jobs.

Free business energy audits are currently available to businesses operating from commercial premises where there is a requirement or desire to upgrade premises with more energy efficient materials, equipment and resources.

Business Gateway are an integral part of East Renfrewshire Council's support to local business.
