Thornliebank Resource Centre

Information about the Thornliebank Resource Centre.

Thornliebank Resource Centre supports more than 40 individuals to live independently.

The centre helps people decide how much time they will have to work, look after their house, be more active in the community or just meet up with friends.

The groups are small and focused to each person's needs.

A hydro pool, gardens and sensory rooms are just some of the facilities available to those in the centre.

What goes on in the centre

Activities set up at the centre cover a wide range of interests and meet the many different needs of service users.

Some of these groups use the centre as a base to meet up and attend other activities together. Whereas, others are part of the following groups:

  • News and web
  • Healthy living
  • Work, learning and training

More than half of the people who use a service at Thornliebank now have a home of their own with support to suit their needs.
