Before you start

To make public or house to house collections for charitable purposes you need a permit from the local authority, unless you hold an exemption.

Fee

There's no fee for a charity collections licence.

When you've completed your application email it to CELicensing@eastrenfrewshire.gov.uk

What happens next?

Your application will be processed.

If you don't hear from us within a reasonable period of time email CELicensing@eastrenfrewshire.gov.uk to check on progress. 

If your application is refused

If your licence is refused you can appeal to the Sheriff by writing to Paisley Sheriff Court.

The appeal must be made within 14 days of the refusal.
